Spawncamping or Not Spawncamping?

What do you do when you have the option of entering an uncap and easily smoking a few people? Do you kindly sit back and chill then wait for the enemy attack, or do you charge into their center of command with the possiblity of taking a few out while they spawn in?

For me, it depends on if the server allows it and wether I think the enemy team deserves it. IE: Them just camping as snipers in the back being dumb, or nade spamming, general smacktardness. I usually just wait in the Rorsch if I get bored, as usually a car will come along eventually. Or worse a walker. However sometimes I get fed up of just sitting back bored and charge in.

I'm a fan of total spawncamping, even though most of the servers I play on don't allow (and thus, i don't). But if there is a serious imbalance, spawncamping gets a bad map over quickly. And frankly, it even allows an early hindered team to potentially get out because the spawncamping team will often overcommit and not cover their rear.

Spawn camp = good.

I don't usually go far into the uncap, ex: I usually won't go on the sandy parts of PAC base in Camp G, but on cappable flags I might camp the spawnpoints. (If the server doesn't mind of course, but most servers only have rules for baserape, not spawncamp.)

for me I don't go in the uncap. it feels to much like DM style. The way i look at there coming out anyways. If they don't come out its going to be a boring game, off to a new server.

There nothing better then a good fight between two teams. I love it when a round is close and any side could win. I live for them rounds.

spawn-camping is dirty, but i will fire from the front buildings on camp g. only takes 2 rockets or a sniper to push me back

I dont really play one BF servers anymore, but when I did I was fine with spawn camping providing there was no vehicles involved, infantry on infantry is fine, if the camping team had armour then I would probably be against to it.

I only enter uncaps if the enemy team won't push forward or the don't even give the effort to get a jeep and cap a base further in. If they don't do that they deserve to be spawnraped :p

It is annoying though if you play CG as EU and some ******* PAC guys are camping the spawn on the northern side and they don't try to cap the flag either :/

ill hang out in the base a bit but i would neve camp with armor ever. infantry v infantry is fine i think as long as your not all stupid with a sentry gun and stuff like that

Nope, I don't spawn camp un-caps ever, regardless of server rules. I'll take a fight over points anyday, even if I end up on the losing side. I think it's better for the comunity, there's new players entering the kill zone everyday, I'd rather keep them than loose 'em. With that in mind, I'll leave a server in a blink, if someones camping un-caps.

I will, however, "camp" capable flags/silos as long as needed to take it over, in my mind, thats fair game. It's mine(d), they just don't know it yet. Allthough, I don't make an effort to camp it, but if someone happens to spawn in - then it's plus one for me.

Sentry drones, and the FAV guns are just dumb when they're in the uncap.

Btw cappable flag spawns DOES not count as spawncamping, only spawnkilling. It's usually good to do that, so the enemy doesn't have a chance of stopping your squad from taking the base.

If my team is able to do some serious baseraping, then hell yeah! Kill those mother****ers. They deserve no less than losing the round 300 - 0. Just once I played a round where literally all 32 EU soldiers spawncamped the PAC. That was some funny ****. Anytime again!

Lol the max i've seen in the uncap is 48. They had 2 walkers and both cars. Also a load of sentry drones and support firing all over. Almost made me deaf all the Ganzes.
