    Reflex or aimed shooting?

Even in scoped view, do you always aim for pin-point accuracy? Or do you aim for the target generally and pull the trigger?

I find that many of my better rounds seem to come from shooting-from-the-hip in rapid bursts, rather than taking the time to aim accurately.

Even more so when I go on titan attack or defense with the Clark. I think at times, going for the scoped/high accuracy view can leave you more open to return fire.

aim, and for the head does more damage then shooting someone in the feet, unless of course there too close then i put a clip in them but still aim high for the head and upper torso

I always aim. Sometimes thats stoopid being in close range though. Thats when I usually get killed.

If I'm using the Clark (50% of ground pounding time) its 100% reflex... If I am using the Krylov or an SMG (the other 50%) I aim for the head.

I would have to argue that the clark requires more AIMING than reflex. caus you need to make your shots count more than any other gun (excluding snipers and AT weapons)

try to have both aiming AND reflex with any gun. they go hand in hand. faster you can aim WELL. the better

I guess, but pure reflex has gotten me along with the clark just fine... I am in the top 800 with more than 3k kills :p Stupid Engi kit though, once I start playing with it I can't stop :|:

Anyone manage any reflex kills with the Zeller? :)

Nailing the enemy infantry with the Pilum is always good for a laugh. Reloading and rounding a corner to fire at that inbound tank when suddenly you come face-to-face with a bloke on the other side. Whoa! BAM! ........he's dead.....

Dragshots ftw, it's hard to get used to the sway after playing other games though

Depends on range. If they seem far enough to be a not-so-dagerous-threat, its scope up aiming for the head. Midrange usually gets me doing a reflex scoped burst to the center of mass, chest usually. I don't usually expend my concentration to aim for the head at that range cos sudden movements throws me off rather easily or it makes me vulnerable to return fire. Being scoped while aiming at someone at point blank is asking to get killed. Likewise is going prone to shoot at targets at that range. (But you still see noobs in bf2 or 2142 still doing it and it amuses me greatly to dodge all their bullets by simply dancing around them)

                        i do zeller reflexshots,
if you practice enough you wont just fire in the general direction of enemies but actually do a reflex-aim shot (really fast aim, usually head or upper body)
most of my headshots with sniper rifles (i play with all of them) are reflex shots .
full spray fire can only be done effectively with the voss (big mag)

I always scope, unless it's really close range or I can pat the guy on the back I'm so close to him. I always crouch when I do this as well, I'm not fond of just standing and hip firing... wastes more ammo.

Well i do both, like i believe all people will, if you know someone is there and you have time your obviously going to take your time to aim etc.

If someone just appears then your going to be forced to do a reflex shot.
