    Skins question/problem

    Ok, I made custom skins for both the Gold & Silver DE's but there is some kind of issue. In game when viewing the weapon with the new skin it apears to be transparent, as in I can see the ghost image of my new skin on the weapon. So, has anyone seen this before or knows how or what is causing this issue??

      Update, all my other skins work just fine in game the only problem I have with the "transparent" skins is on the Siliver & Gold Desert Eagles. I'm going to assume it has something to do with the extra shine on those weapons. Does anyone know how defeat or alter that effect so they can be re-skinned?

          Maybe you saved the image with an alpha channel? (when it might not need one) or something like that...

          Open up the original .iwi (converted to .dds) in photoshop and then open your skins and see if you've accidently saved the .dds file as dxt 1 instead of 5 or what ever it's supposed to be...
