cant play NS servers

i just got promoted like 30 seconds ago.i bought NS.i can get NS unlocks but i cant play the servers.i think this has to do with not exactly being able to install NS.
1)what were the steps u had to take buy and install NS?
2)solution to why i cant play the servers but get unlocks?

does anybody mind trying to email the NS installer to me?PM me if u are willing to do it.

You have the latest patch? (1.40)

The proper way of installing NS from vanilla version is:

Install BF2142
Patch 1.4
Install NS
Patch 1.4 again.

thats the problem.i "install" NS.only download it because i can't get past the activation stage on the download manager because i activated it on the website.what i am looking for is the shortcut or whatever it is that will actually install the game
