I seldom snipe, but I always find the perfect spots. Dont do monorail. Always find a ground position, high or low, as long as long as you can see the area you want to cover. Just go around on different elevations, terrains, and areas. You'll find a nice spot.

That is right. Don't snipe on monorail 'cos you're in the higher position, but not high enough to have height as your advantage. Plus, you're 360 degrees exposed which PK-rocket and enemy sniper can take you down very easily. I recommend sniping on the ground anywhere you can find yourself being secured at your both left and right sides and your back. It's kinda hard, but better try it

Thanks for the tips. I Found that Ghost is somewhat useful in Leipzig, and especially in Leipzig. I got people around me don't know I am actually there! Giving the proximity of Leipzig map, and abundance of Support players, I would say Ghost has its place after all!

I remember before 1.40 patch, one good tactic was to join squad, wait until SL drops beacon. And pod to one of those high roofs.

It was fun to be only one there, and you could cover 2 or maybe even 3 flags(depending about the building) from there.

But i have to agree with SoaNe and Yoster, stay out of monorail. Or if you do go up there, go solo, and use the camo.

Quick way to get yourself killed is to stick with 2 or 3 snipers/friendlies on the monorail. It would be same if you'd hand a big sign over your head saying: "Im here, some PK's please"..

The Monorail has its uses though... Motion Mine rain of death anyone? Good for taking out Goliaths :p

But yeah, on Leipzig its best to stay off it when sniping... You can kill a guy once, but you better believe he will be back with PKs to take his unholy revenge. I am a mobile sniper, so I don't really have any "good spots"... I take my shot and move on.

I find those balconies with the 2 ladders to be pretty good for sniping.

today i got Yoster (forgot time) at least 2 times from monorail, and 2 from ground.

Really, its your pick on where to shoot from, just be smart about it.

During the beggining of the round when half the people on the other team go engi to kill the golith, its easy to get a few kills from inside the rorsh box while they are distracted

That map is quite good for sniping in my experience, just move away from your team so that the enemies are too busy shooting them and forget about you.
