And if you are installing SF/EF/AF you need to install or reinstall the patch after you've installed them.

Just a quick thread jack.
I wiped my computer and I reinstalled BF2.
I ran patch 1.41 full, and I think the computer turned off before it finished.
I ran it again, and I clicked "finish".
I ran BF2, and it said I was still at version 1.xxxxx.
Any help/advice please?

Is this the number in the top right hand corner of the BF2 menu screen?
If it is, this is not the patch you're running; although it does correspond to it.

If you're on v1.41, that number should be this: 1.1.2965-797.0 (I think :))
