Demo or soldier since both can pretty much own if you practice them I myself like Demo better since the stickys can have long range shots and they are powerful.

I agree. Heavy is a good starter. Medics (if there are any) will flock to you. You just have to learn how to keep your medic alive and you can ease in the game a lot better.
Soldier is also has an easy learning curve.
Demo man, sniper, and medic are pretty straightforward an easy to learn also, but not as good if your just started.

I definitely would not suggest pyro, scout, spy or engie to get to know the game. They are some of my favorite classes but I think it takes more work to get good at them

I always found Soldier and Scout very hard to play when i first started, i endured many frustrating hours trying to figure out what i was doing wrong.

There is no real miracle cure, just keep getting up again and again and one day, something will snap and your suddenly top of the scoreboard lol. Soldier went from my least favourite, to my most played class.
