FFoW WAS that bad. Its nothing but a cheap ripoff of 2142 :shakehead: Cheap as in pathetic, they still take a full $50 for it at the store.

wouldnt necessarily call it a ripoff of BF2142 b/c i think its more of a ripoff of ghost recon advanced warfighter. it uses the same cross-com system GRAW does, and most of it is a ripoff, and a bad one. ive only played the demo of FFoW, and ya, it sucked. BF2142 FTW!:yay:

Nice to see ya back on board Eriksson. Like you I used to love BF2. But after many hours of 2142, I play it again every so often, but I just can't seem to get back into it. It's funny because I think the structure and maps in BF2 are better than 2142. (The objects and buildings in 2142 are soooo repetitive) But the overall game play and style in 2142 is much better. And I know what you mean with Karkand. It seems whenever I do BF2, of 200 servers running about 100 are playing Karkand, FF=off, nade and 'noob tube' fest.
Of course I used to complain that Karkand was too much of a bottleneck map. HA! Camp G makes Karkand look like Shuia Tabia conquest.

Karkand was worse beacuse everyone has 4 nades And you just have to run over an ammo bag to get 4 new ones... Not to mention pronediving and stuff like that.

Same feeling but with BF2. In bf2 your life (as well as your enemy's) was worth more. The weapons and configuration is what got me into BF2142 though.
