never posted the link and im sorry but as long as you OWN the game it is not illegal mate.

thinking about thinking about what alex said it might mess punk buster up.

- REINSTALLED IT AND PATCHED IT
- UPDATED PUNKBUSTER

right if your still getting the same problem. then its going to be a couple of things.

either the disk has been damaged. there are things you can get to fix them like scraping a bit of the disk to try and get rid of the scratch. i dont know how well this works as i have never done it b4.

or your drive is done. if this is the case you would be getting reading problems with other things. which you prob would have noticed so i dont think its that.

now what i would suggest is install a virtual machine and test it with that. if the same thing happens then it is one of the 1st two i said. if it works then you can use it that way as the only other fix i could say is to reinstall windows as there will be some problem lying there that i couldnt fix with out seeing myself sorry.

and finally i dont what country your from but in th uk by law we have a 1 year guarantee with everything we buy other words it breaks in that period the company is required to replace or fix it for free. will mean sending it away for a bit but does mean you dont need to buy a new one.

a virtual drive will make windows have an extra drive letting you load image files to that drive.

this means you dont need to burn an image file to a disk.
it will just appear to windows as a disk in the drive.
