Correct. "Something" like an Osprey. The distinctive difference is of course that pitching or titling the aircraft does not have an effect on the movement of it in the "hover" mode. However, even if someone was able to code, for example the F35B, to act exactly like a Cobra helicoper in hover mode, that would be a huge step forward.
