somehow i feel this is largely directed @ me. i've seen & heard some of your tirades about the knife. occassionally, you'll humor me w/ an knife back. but how many others do you come across? are there that many more field?

well tbh i think your one of the only people that actually irritates me sometimes using a knife. most of the others are real easy but i gotta be careful around you. sometimes i will get killed by you because i dont take you seriously enough when ou are coming at me. thats dumb on my part because no..you are not like most knifers.

whenever i see your ghost put down on the ground i usually blow it up lol

But seriously, Moose has trained me well. Either I'll hear the buzz, or get lucky enough to hear the chink. But either way, I jump, spin 180 midair, and start shooting behind me. It works sometimes. Nothing better than a dead Moose at my feet.

80% of the time when it comes to moose, I hear a chink and turn around. I never see or hear his cloak, only seen the actual thing maybe once. Hes just too sneaky =)

i'm curious though, how many tags did you have when you got wiped tim? not asking for comparison, but i have a theory. at the time, i was the #2 legit knifer @ #66 overall. the #1 legit knifer was right above me @ #65. we both had just passed 36,000 and got wiped on the same exact day.

I had 20,000 knife kills within the first 5 months of the game with a 60 K/D ration with the knife. Got reset on January 13th and thought it was a glitch or a mistake at first.

Slaney, I had a high K/D ratio too and still got reset, lol.

i was at 56 before i joined my new clan and now its stumbled to 46. Using stock rifles more now.

what makes me think though is that i aint had my stats wiped so surely something must of happened with you guys to get them deleted????

56/1 & 60/1...very impressive guys. my clan keeps me in check. we have a lot of knife whores & i barely keep it above 20/1. i got the same response from EA that tim did...."you abused the scoring system/game mechanics". they wouldn't say what i did exactly. their only response is that they wouldn't tell me, so that i would work around it. it seems that they're implying they have a formula of some sort. as far as spoofing, i'm not sure how that works. my server history seems to be the same. i have a fellow clan member that actually works (daily employment) w/ EA. in internal investigation was done & what i was told is that someone complained. probably some noob who just owned...repeatedly. the person at EA who took the complaint didn't bother to investigate & just wiped w/o provocation. at best, that employee @ EA would have been reprimanded, but i'll never find out. EA at its best folks.

anyways, i hope it doesn't happen to you too slaney. by all accounts, you're all legit & i respect that.

bloody hell didnt realise it went that deep. its a shame that they dont look into things like this. you get all the nubs like i-knife-u wallglitching racking up tons of points and hes still hanging around laughing in our faces. Same with m.f.a he was like a bad smell that wouldnt go away but with all cheats they get bored and move on to pester other games.

small world. i never saw d3lit3 here, but i remember from in-game. i took his tags 2 or 3 times one round(would have been 4 or 5 had it not been for a rubber knife & a team mate shooting him). he got my tags once later that round & went on some little rant about how he knifed me...blah blah blah. i'm usually the type to just move on, so when i see people get riled up, i usually remember. anyways, it was him. spoofer huh? i just don't get why some people have to F$%@ w/ others to get by in their daily life. makes me wonder if they were picked as kids...or still picked on...and this is their way of getting back. i just don't get it. anyways, in game name is =TRR= fatmooseknuckl (no letter "e" on the end). i've only seen you during the dogtag challenge cuz dice spent most of their time on european servers. man do i love 300 pings. :evil:

I'd say it's far more difficult to actively contribute to a victory using the knife exclusively for killing).

I agree, but I think A knifer does offer a demoralizing effect on the enemy and If they are capping flags they can lend a hand in the outcome of the game.

I have just registered to say that vid was a really good one. I have only recently started to practice with a knife and am slowwwly getting better, but it is really hard work.. Just one question - which kit do you think is best - Mr Knuckl goes for recon, I think Mr Slaney goes for assault? I go for recon although my best round (14) was with assault aaaah... I just dont know.. Also, if I were to chase Mr S for his doggies, how can I tell which forum? I think there is a programme but have forgotten what it is.. and finally, more videos please, I need to learn so any advice gratefully received..

to be fair the majority of knife kills i got have been with recon(up to 28000knife kills i think it was)right Up until i joined =50k= . From there i started using assault and have got as good, if not better with the knife since. I tend not to use it as much though as my shooting lets me down a bit so whilst im trying to improve that i still get the urge to charge into an enemy position knife drawn lol:laugh:
