try leading by example.
on IO karkand for example (since nearly 50% of servers seem to play this its fitting)
1)create a squad, it probably wont get filled.
2) get some where tactically good, for example as usmc leg it to subburbs then to factory or warehouse.
3) players will see how crap their random sl is and will join your squad.
4) set resonable objectives, dont be the meat grinder squad because it will empty.
5) enjoy the team work till next round.
most important is point 2, if you as the sl put your self in a better position then the other idiots people will eventually realise and join you.
plus I almost forgot, by actually being a useful squad the commander usually helps you out more then others, for example you tend to get a lot of ammo/health crates dropped for you and uavs for where your heading, as well as spots.Comment
