Joining an overcrowded server is the user's choice, however. When you join a server, you can see what the max player limit is, so you can always be on lower player number servers if you want.

Agree with Whiskey there, I often play in big servers because its harder to get to the top with more players. It also makes my reactions faster after awhile.
