I'm suspicious of hacking.

I've been playing on a BF2 server for while now and have noticed a particular player, very high ranked, who always has a 200 ping every single time they are ever on the server. Despite this, I have personally been sniped by this person while in mid jump. My friends have also fallen prey to his extremely accurate sniping abilities from great distances. On top of that this person finishes first pretty much every single round they are in the game. Basically, this single person can turn the entire game and rarely do they die.

I suspect hacking personally, and I don't jump to that lightly because I have witnessed a fair amount of highly rank and highly skilled players finishing in first consistently on this server, but nothing seems off about them and they have extremely low pings, less than 20 in some instances, but something has always seemed fishy with this particular person when ever I've encountered them.

When I go from a 60 ping on a server to another server where I have a 30 ping I can definitely tell a difference in the ease with which I can take down an enemy, and even the particular weapon I use performs differently in that I can prone and auto fire and kill an enemy at a greater distance rather than having to switch to single shot to make the kill as when I am hovering around 60 - 70. Likewise, if I have a night where my ping shoots to 120 which is usually the highest I see, I cannot easily kill anyone even if I have the drop on them.

It's extremely frustrating in some cases, but if you put that accusation of hacking out there to the admin of the server you might as well be calling them a witch and you'll get burned at the stake and banned instead so I just sit and deal with it. I know the server does PB screenshots and I've seen people banned for aimbots on various days. I also know though that there are aim hacks for 2142 at least that specify that they compensate for ping so you never have to worry about high ping again. I've been confined to a single server for a very long time so I don't know the circumstances out there, does this situation sound a little suspicious to anyone else. Thanks for any input.

Well you know more than we do about it. It could be hax, it could just be a l33t player. Best thing to do is see if you can find a place to view the PB screenshots, or maybe a BR file. Another way is to join the guy's team and follow him around. Chams and wallhacks can be disguised, but you can almost always tell someone who is using an aimbot simply by watching them play.

That would be the best idea if you wanted to make a case to get him wiped, if EA does that anymore.

One other thing I noticed was that at one point in a round some teammates and I were capping a flag, then C4 comes flying over the fence at us, I scramble and flank to come up on the side of the person, who at that point as I'm watching was still in the process of tossing C4 and it happens to be the same guy I'm describing above. To me it looked as though he simultaneously jumped and threw a brick over the fence. You aren't supposed to be able to jump and throw C4 of course, so how would he be accomplishing this? Is that some trick of the trade that can be pulled of by anyone who knows the secret?

Its still possible. You have to press the fire button like milliseconds before you jump

Macros are BS for stuff like that. It's all about knowing the timing and having that little extra feel for the game.

If it was one time or every so often I could maybe dismiss it as having a good day or a couple of good rounds if I barred my personal encounters, but it is pretty much every round from the time he gets on to the time he leaves. It is so predictable at this point that if you look at a list of players who are on the server at any given time and see his name on the list you don't even have to guess that he is in first place. And with the high ping it just doesn't make sense to me. Anyways folks thanks for the suggestions.

OMG He uses HAX! Dude your honestly making a mistake. There are pro pubbers in bf2 who can snipe 99% accuratly. It isnt hard to shoot someone in mid air (its called you point your scope up when they jump?). You are making a big mistake. To me ping doesnt mean crap. Just my opinion
