CTD, total Crash CCC 8.3???

haven't played BF2 for a while now i have updated to 8.3 cats i keep getting strange noise laggs and CTD.

the strange noise lagg has been happnin for a while and seems to start when i get near enemy and worse when there lots of enemy around, ping is normally 15-20 . never had it crash my system yet and now it has.

tried installing 1.4 patch over everything did improve for a while.

Anyone else got Catalyst issues?

Well, uhm, Catalyst does not have anything to do with your sound, I would look for new soundcard drivers.
