has anyone gone back to bfv and gone back to bf2 and realized how easy it is to pilot? i got vietnam a few days ago because it was $20 (thats cheap here in aus) and used the hueys and cobras. it was almost impossible, how did the people who played it online then cope?

Oh, and there's a difference between being able to fly "properly" and what you're probably describing, which is not crashing all over the place. Tremendous difference...
Keeping the heli airborne != Knowing how to fly -
i can keep a heli airborne for about... 1 to maybe even 2 minutes
thats why i stay on the ground :cry: i will learn how to fly them on singleplayer oneday rather than shame myself on MP..

Yeah, BFV's helos were bad... but not nearly as bad as the initial DC helicopters... With practice though people were able to fly those things pretty damn well.Comment

I've actually found that the BF:V choppers are very easy compared to the BF2 choppers. I played BF:V quite a bit, although I was never much of a chopper whore, but it was very easy to make those things orbit. The BF2 choppers are a bit harder for me. What's even harder, though, is going from the BF2142 gunships and back to the BF2 choppers. It's like I have to learn to fly all over again. :cry:

I loved flying in BFV... The flying in bf2 was supposed to be "easy to learn, hard to master" according to DICE.
