Has this ever happend to you?

Okay so here i was on the map suhia tahiba or w/e the map is called. As a EU i was doing my Air Transport job with 2 of my gunner getting silos. But after some time we got intercepted by a Gunship. He start firing at us, Getting my 2 gunners to Pod off and letting me with 40% of armor. I did an emergency landing at silo 4 that was in Possession of the NME.

So i get out and wait to capture the silo so i could repair my transport. But 1minute or 2 I see this little FAV coming from the PAC homebase, So i jumped in the transport ans used the Mini gun And gaved him a Rain of bullets:ar15: as he was coming towards me. But at my big surprise there where no white indicator telling me that i had touched him. And then he gets out of the fav at like 25 m from me ( I was stilling spraying bullets like HELL up on the infantry ) but he managed to just shot a pilum round round right in my face:shock: like if i never gaved any resistance... I was shock.

And this isint the first time it happens to me, that Gunship or transport ships mounted machine guns do 0 damage. What is this related to? I think its pretty annoying, especially when you gotta defend your self when an NME GS is flying around you...
Can someone tell me this is related to what? ... Well thank you for reading.

was it seat 3? that seat is know for its bugged shoots. you can see sparks coming but will never hit anyone

Yeah, just another unfixed bug since day one release of this game.

DICE however provided solution: every time you sit in 3rd position of EU transport, calibrate the gun by moving it through edges.

wow what a rip off.... this is only on EU transport? and what do you mean by "calibrate the gun by moving it through edges"

If you move the gun so that it is "Inside" the air transport model both on the left and right side, the F3 position will work. Its annoying, but hey, at least its somewhat fixable...

The Shepard can be mustard in the right hands with one working gun, two would be uber.

Yeah same here, sometimes the bullets do NO damage whatsoever.

When I'm really lazy I like to park a transport and whore the minigun (At least EA didn't kill those miniguns...((yet)) and rape anything that moves. But after a few hundred shots the guns become useless. Same with the gunship. The few times I'm in the gunner seat and the pilot is chasing a gunship. Only 1 out of 5 bullets actually do damage. So guess who wins? Lame

I somewhat fixed it in my mod the easy way.
Dice made it so it shared the GenericFireArm with seat 2 so basicly your using seat 2 in seat 3 but the game doesnt really like that.

compare pac transport helo with eu one youll see pac does have a firearm for both seats and eu doesnt.

I've had dozens of kills in a transport without them ever showing in my stats...

this has happened to me before......make sure your SIGHTS are on him and not thinking you are on him......for instance...its very easy in the heat of battle to panic and you think your sights are t rained right at him only to realize you have been aiming thry the wrong part of the recepticle......damn Battlewalkers are good for that sometimes......

Yet the purple hearts mystically showed up.

i mean, i was on a 15- kill spree, as always, and all of a sudden it gave me the purple heart! strange.....

I think the transport guns are probably THE most inaccurate vehicle mounts in the game. I've been on both ends where I'm firing away and not nailing the guy below and at other times where shells are landing everywhere around me an I'm not getting hit.

Strange how the gunship turret is more accurate on a faster moving craft though? I would have thought that that would have increased the chances of missing or the server interpretting misses, etc?
