Fook InstallShield

I can't install my BF2. When I try to start the setup.exe or autorun.exe, the installer just quits after the BF2 Splash screen. I can install BF2142 or anything that uses InstallShield. Just not BF2.

You could try to go to EA's BF2 main site, click on support, and find the manual install walk-through. Nevermind, what am I thinking, telling someone to go to EA Support for anything? A manual install may work though, but use Google.

This a clean install of Windows, or was BF2 previously installed? If previously installed follow the steps here,

to manually remove the old registry entries (you can leave the BF2 folder in My Documents).
