    Are You Kidding.............no Random Killing

Just like a bad dream I get kicked again. Just posted a few days ago about how retarded this SKUNKWORKS server was and now I get kicked off this SPS server for killing the enemy. Admin said.........."no random killing" for killing the enemy! Why are so many clans so FOS. I realize it is their server and their rules but come on ....don't they need new players and a change of pace. I enjoy playing on Ghost Town but there are only a couple of stand up servers left. Guess I will go back to BF2142 and COD4. Hate turning my beef into a rant but WTF.........

Random killing is only a problem on stat-padding servers. They kick/ban for trying to actually play the game instead of pad in a corner with a medic+dummy.

      Thanks for the info.....

Thanks as I have now been informed and updated. The actual server was =SPM= Special Forces. Should clarify that I was only referring to servers that run Ghost Town full time. I realize that most of the servers running online do an outstanding job.

I remember in the heyday of BF2 when EA would actually swoop in and wipe some stats of these players, and possibly unrank the server. It appears now, not only did EA never truly enforce these rules on BF2142, but they've also stopped doing it on the one game they did enforce them.

What does one have to do to kill someone, fill out special forms in triplicate?
              Have counciling sessions? ASk first?

I thought I explained it? It was a stat-padding server. If you just run around killing "RANDOMLY" it disrupts their stat-padding time. duh!

now it makes sense, i can see how that makes a problem.

just go with their rules or find another server dude. I used to be a rebel and would mind the illogical rules they employ like "no attacknig uncaps" or "no soloing" but I got banned from too many servers and am down to a select few that still run with the settings and maps i prefer. So eventually you gotta give in and just obide by their rules.

it should be common sense to not get on a stat padding server

It is, for most at least. I still have to once in a while delete xfire friends because I find them on statpad-servers. Yeah, I do that.

Why? Just coz they are on a padding server doesnt mean they are actually stat padding Its actually quite fun to go on those servers and f*ck around.
