Will the new patch help me?

I get kicked from PB all the time with the IGNORING QUERIES all the time. I have tried many things now and nothing makes it go away. Will the new patch fix my problems or won't I be able to play the game anymore?

Can someone cut out for me what this means:
Not sure if this will help but if your running Vista with UAC turned on running pbsetup.exe only updates the files in the CoD4 pb folder, copy the files over to the CoD4 directory located in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files

We don't know everything that's in the upcoming patch, so you can't rely on that.

"Ignoring Punkbuster Queries" is a common issue, and can usually be solved fairlly easily with updates/re-installs/and restarts.

First, go here: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php follow the instructions, and restart your PC. Try joining and playing on some servers and see if you still get the error.
