M24 for MEC?

Hello,

Is there mod or any way to get the M24 Sniper Rifle for MEC? I don't play online, I need this for single player (offline).

Anyone know any mod? OR any way?

kill an american sniper and grab his gear.. or just play the american team :p

i havent heard of a mod like that.. why u want to do that?

Hmm, the "grab his gear" isn't the solution. He might get you before you get him. And other thing is that you get some good shots at the start of the game. So thats why I want it for MEC.

And I want to do it, because I want to play as MEC with the m24 rifle. I like MEC more than US, so thats why.

BTW, is there any way to increase the accuracy of SVD?

Create your own mod (copy the mod folder) and then just tweak the weapon and kit files. I don't know exactly how to do it step-by-step, but I don't believe it's very complicated. I've done things like this to fly J-10s and F35Bs on single-player OCS.

Like Wolfgang said you could creat a mod if you have any experience modding things. Other than that I don't know any other way.

i would just play US till you unlock the l96a1 and then play as mec

I'll make a small mod for it

Ok

1. Copy your
   C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\
   
   
2. Rename it to "M24mod" With no quotes
   
   
3. place THIS file in
   
   C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\m24mod\Objects_server.zip\Kits\MEC
   
   Make sure you overwrite the old file

If you want a shortcut i can do that later, until then

1. Start BF2
   
2. Go To Custom Games
   
3. Select Your new mod
   
4. Start playing
