Fraps: 2 issues

Okay I just now started to F with fraps cuz i'm trying to record myself so I can show my boss the vids and point out to him what he needs to do in certain situations. That's irrelavent though, 1st: does fraps eat up any latency? Cuz I noticed my ping was way higher than it usually is when I had fraps running. Maybe it was just coincidence and my ISP was at fault. And 2nd: when I playback the vids after recording on any FPS rate it's very laggy and there are red and green lines all over the screen. O ya one more thing, when I hit my hotkey in game to start recording it sometimes records for 30 secs and then cuts off or sometimes it'll go for 2-3 mins and then cut off. Is it supposed to cut off like that? Or is it supposed to keep recording until you hit the hot key again? Thanks!

The free one will cut off after 30 seconds. Make sure you record uncompressed( Not sure if you can change that)

are you running xfire also if so turn that off.. it should help

No ****, the developers slaved over making it, so people could use it, they give away plenty of free demos. They got to make some compensation!
