Crashing problem need help please

hey guys my bud is having some problems with bf2142 crashing

he has the same computer as i do (in sig) i built it for him and he had bf2142 with the 1.4 patch (no northern strike)

I deleted the cache like the stickies said to and didnt help at all.

also manually updated punkbuster and that didnt seem to help either.

what im experiencing is just a total crash of the game. right when i enter the server after ehh 5 seconds it will just close to desktop in a second. i have statbar running and noticed that all the memory is gone and the music doesn't stick for a second like it sometimes does after you quit playing making me think im having a memory leaking problem but im not sure. and even if i was i have no clue how i would go to fix this

would like to know how i could go in fixing this.

sounds like punkbuster issue maullay update it u get the program here to do it. http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php

with me it happened a bit different i had the vista transformation pack on xp which just f**ked things up. if he has it tell him to get rid of it.

Make sure your not using any cracked BF2142 .exe files and also not using any ghosts hdd's
