Install Error

Well, my friend is trying to install 2142 after awhile of not playing, and he gets this weird error message when the installshield wizard loads up. Picture below.

He does have a legit copy of both 2142 and windows, and has played the game before. He also has tried varying methods and all have failed thus far. More interesting? A quick Google search will turn up things related to a Vista installation error.

Maybe he should try to install it with your game disc.

or use bit torrent to download another copy(with a no cd crack) and use his own serial no.

this isnt illegal as he already owns the game
