i cant seem to win a single game, me and my teammate have the enemy stuck on their side of the river and then all of a sudden 10 panthers come across and blow us all to pieces.

Then don't stay on your side of the river... Go across right at the beginning and stop using the bottleneck.

my teammate finally got a croc so we could get past their dragon's teeth and then we took all but 1 or 2 points on their side but it just wasnt good enough.

don't keep the enemy waiting. as you'd like to build up your forces while you have the enemy blocked in, he is most likely be doing the same thing

yeah, i played a match yesterday and it lasted for 3 hours, and everybody just ended up dropping because our team's defense was too much for them, but we had nothing to go attack them with.

Remember, in COH; always keep pressure on your enemy, turtling is not the way to win. It almost never does, unless you lead them to a trap, and then rush. One of my favourite methods of playing, is to drag the enemy into my hulled down tank squad, and then rush out.

yeah i play annihilate mode alot, and what is funny is that I've only won while playing VP, so I'm gonna start playing VP instead.

Well I cant even seem to build tanks of my own until a long while into the game because I'm always stuck on the side of the map with 1 fuel point and if i finally take one on the other side of the map, the enemy will obliderate all the defenses and take it back within minutes.

well I finally won a game, it was 4 v 4. I did most of the work lol, I'm the one who led the attack on their base, I played as the Germans and i used the defense one, with the off map artilleries.

I have a replay if anyone wants to watch but I'm not sure how to find it.

Well it depends, I play whatever I feel like playing as I guess lol. I like to play as Armor on the U.S., sometimes Airborne and Infantry, but on bigger maps, Armor.

I played on the Hochwald Gap ( I think that's the name) Well here's what i did, I let my teammates take the fuel/munition points, and I immediately upgraded to assault phase, built some basic soldiers, and then build a Stug, 2 anti tanks, a nebelwerfer, sniper, and MG. I sent the infantry up the main road, with my allies. I capped a few points and then I upgraded to battle phase ( i think that's what it's called), and started building ostwinds and panzers. And I had 1 panther. By then I had enough XP to use the flak guns, I built a couple of them around the base, and then fought some more, capping points still, then I made an armored vehicle with the rocket artillery on it, I used it along with nebelwerfers on our enemie's front lines until I got the off map rocket barrage. I built my forces till I got to the population limit, then I sent my forces to their side, and my teammates followed, we crushed everything in our path.
I was continuosly bombarding them with rocket artilery. ( I probably spent close to 3000 munitions on rocket artillery that game). We were destroying their calliopes so fast they couldnt even use them, but their pershings did give us problems, in fact, one of the enemy's manpower was so high that each time we destroyed a pershing, it immediately got replaced. And then soon after that, the host said "GG", by then I figured that we won the game, and we did. And I'm still only a Level 1 after all of that.

OH man, you should have bought COH when it was released, 200Ammo for calliope, but no cool down. Was awesome. Made it even more awesome by making it free, with a 45 second cool down. Now I believe its longer.
