i admit in vbf2 the door guns were utterly useless, but like all the other weapons in PR, the miniguns in this are quite powerful; i've killed alot of guys with them.

Looks like you missed the joy of the early versions. Two engies an ammo dude and a medic and you had the ultimate platform of death!



I would love to see door guns more effective again though not a raping machine but at least able to take out some infantry......

Mashtuur city anyone? It was the flying death machine, and seats in that chopper went for a premium. I could easily get into the hundreds in score by flying that thing around and getting assist points from the kills and repairs. Add to that when the engies weren't repairing, they were dropping landmines (or occasionally a spec ops would drop C4 out the back) while we were flying along. It was pretty funny, actually.

I'd definitely like to see the miniguns improved a bit, but certainly not to that level. At least make them effective as a .50 cal.

i find the huey more forgiving to fly than the Blk Hwk, for example landing, the huey can take a moderate landing pretty well, the blackhawk is like it was made of glass, just that little to hard for those itty-bitty-tiny-weeny landing wheels and its BANG!

gun wise, just having a support guy is good enough for me, or perhaps an AT guy

Hm, i just discovered that a Huey can take an AA missile from the AA kit and survive... In 0.7 Blackhawks werent able to do that

those are some cool vids; yea thats what I do when I sit in the back of the huey, although I've only ever killed one guy doing that.
