it seems prety nice map. But if we have to pay for 3 maps i would be angry at IW. Ok if they had introduced some new perks guns or like 5 maps insted of 3 then i would like to pay for it but cmone asking money for 3 maps. They could have just giv them as a gift for supporting this game so much.
so are these gonna be on the PC as part of a patch?
here's the exact quote by '402':
We want to bring the maps to the PC, but right now they’re confirmed as DLC for Xbox 360 / PS3 and we’re looking at our options for PC versions of them.
FYI - he said the console maps will probably come out mid-late April, so I'd wager PC will be even later than that.
They haven't made a decision about how to distribute to the PC. They've been evaluating for quite awhile...
They intend on charging for the new content if you're on X360/PS3. Booster packs and expansions have not been great because they tend to segment the playerbase. There is a long history of free content for the PC platform, so the industry pundits are predicting that IW will release this as "free" content.
Let's hope so. It would cement CoD4 into history as delivering on all levels. Other developers need to take note of IWs launch and support.
so is there any confirmation that this will or will not be included in a (if not next) patch?
The v1.6 PC patch is already in testing, and these maps won't be ready for Console until mid-late April according to IW, so they will definitely not be in the coming PC patch.
After that, it's possible. But as Sonic said, the whole "Consoles pay" while "PC is free" thing is causing problems, and they have to figure that out.

Cmone how hard can it be to bring up 3 maps?? it s not like ther are making a new singel player or some huge expantion pack. I realy not digging the iw latly. And believe me if the consels have to pay then we have to pay aswell otherwys the consol ppl will be mad at them so ..... :shakehead
It's actually 4 maps, not 3. Have you ever mapped before? Even taking a SP mission and converting it to MP takes significant work, and even more for an "original" map. It then has to be play-tested in all different modes, with different numbers of players to make sure it's balanced, all the spawnpoints work, all the bomb-points, etc. Then, IW/Activision have to send it through Sony and Microsoft for approval, which is not a fast process with all of the red tape they have to go through.

Mid-late April is a pretty reasonable time-line.
