Making this laptop work lol

Ok my mate has a 'Equium L20-197' and he currently cant play battlefield 2, now i dont know anything about laptops its just pc i know lol, so is there anything he can do to be able to play it on the lowest settings?

I don't think that laptop will ever play BF2 to be honest with you, it doesn't reach the minimum specifications, which are:

CPU: 1.7 Ghz
RAM: 512 Mb
Video Card: NVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 Mb of RAM.

sorry i forgot to mention i already knew that, i just wanted to know if theres any mods/tricks/patches to be able to play on lowest settings.

There aren't any tricks to this. BF2 will not even run if your graphics chip is integrated. You will just get a black screen and it will throw you back to desktop.

I've never heard of that.... integrated meaning on the laptop board? Why? Aside from this I would suggest checking out the overclock potential.

Nearly all laptops have integrated graphics. A lot of newer laptops can still play BF2, though.

youll be able to play with the graphics on low just need more RAM maybe a faster proccesor

I mean integrated such as Intel Extreme Graphics Chips and the like. I know there are such integrated ones like the 8400GM that can run. But to my knowledge, the ATI Radeon® Xpress 200M is the former, not the latter.
