Blank Punkbuster Message

Ok, I have been getting kicked for the last few weeks from some servers with the blank punkbuster message. Has anyone got a fix for this?

I have uninstalled PB and re installed, deleted every PB related file, Uninstalled the game re patched, re installed PB removed PB using the PBSVC tool and still nothing.

This is no longer funny.

have you update pb with pbsetup.exe? pbsvc doesnt seem to update only reinstal.

im getting something simalier

everytime a join any server im kicked with the same message striaght away.

it was just after another problem so decided to reinstall the full game and pb nothing helps.

any ideas?

only prob is ive got the same prob and i have never cheated

Thanks for that - Do you really think I would be asking the question here if I was using an aimbot I have 260 hours of play do you really think I would waste that time......

Anyone with half a brain can see from my stats that this is not an issue.

As you will see from the above link it was a PB mistake as it mis-identified some software on my system as an aimbot.

So, I do not cheat and the PB message is unrelated to the above issue as it's not only me who is affected.

there are more stupid things hackers have done so i keep this an open possibility. yes pb can make mistakes but it also can bust hackers. you need to search pbbans.com and appeal. show them the even balance techniacal support topic you made. maybe if they tell you it isnt a hack you can play. if it is you are busted

Using the Punkbuster Fix 1 on this thread will most probably fix what ever issues you are having. It explains how to manually uninstall punkbuster and install it again to fix it. Usually Works all the time

Okay I just had the same problem for the passed 3 days. I got it fixed by uninstalling BF 2142 and after that I uninstaller Punkbuster.

after that I re-installed Punkbuster and then re-installed bf 2142 and it worked. Hopefully it works for you.
