    a quick question:

    can COD4 pc players play with COD4 xbox360 players?

        Probably not.

        To make this happen, you'd have to change the online code drastically to allow the different networks to communicate with each other. Very few games have done this - most of which are Microsoft properties (as it is in their interest).

        The other thing is that consoles and PC have different control systems, with the keyboard/mouse on PC being vastly more accurate. To make Console able to compete, they'd have to have a strong auto-aim built in, which would then make some people cry "hax".

        Until Consoles get a highly-accurate control system like PC, this usually isn't a good idea for games that require precision and split-second timing.

            Sony and Microsoft are competitors. Maybe some games cross the boundaries of XBL and PSN, but I doubt the two companies do it willingly very often.
