Dual Monitors

Good day folks just picked up CD4 loaded it onto my computer and just played it for a few mins and love it.

My question is, I have a 22 in and a 19 inch hooked up to my computer, im playing the game on the 22in but im wondering if having 2 monitors hooked up to my video card is using memory resources from my card and would it be better to disconnect the 19in while playing the game

Unless he will be running two games, the second monitor will just be refreshing his desktop and a few items. Also, the design of video cards are usually done in a way where the secondary monitor isnt hogging everything.

Monitors and video cards work together pretty well nowadays and know who needs the constant refreshes vs static refreshes.

If he runs the FPS counter before and after, JMD would be able to tell for sure that way.

Dual monitors won't have any effect on games performance.

Frames Per Second counter shows how many frames are being refreshed in a second.

In CoD4, you go into the game and open your console with the ~ and type \cg_drawfps 1

In the corner of your screen, numbers will appear. The top numbers are the FPS your card is doing.

To turn it off change 1 to 0 (zero)
