so i was about to finish up the round with 16 points. a bit closer to lance corporal silver and my beloved pilum. then it said "lost connection"
needless to say, i went nuts.
this has been happening with my last 2 matches as well.
is this normal?

It is normal, yes... But I wouldn't sweat over it. It doesn't happen THAT often, and when it does there is nothing you can do about it. It used to be HORRIBLE, its actually quite tame now compared to what it was... Server admins have mostly learned about what types of rotations/rounds per map crash servers more frequently and stay away from them. Just hop onto another server and resume fragging :salute:

it was just annoying because it seems like im about to achieve some sort of award or something when it crashes on me.

oops- never mind- i just checked on 2142-stats.com and it registered all my points i got for that round. even though i got disconnected.... i love EA..... :)
