expert sniper = 100 hours as sniper and 35 Kills IAR as a sniper.

the 35 kills has to come after you have reached 100 hours so that might be it.

And remember, I had to learn that the hard way too, when you die and you get a claymorekill while you're dead, it will NOT count towards the badge, cause the time you're dead you are kind of KITLESS - and it is NOT counted as a sniperkill !!
And yes, first the time requirements, then the kills.

happened to me for the expert sniper specialist. I fullfilled the requirements (38 kils iar) TWO times but never got the badge.
But as I explained: I had some claymorekills while I was lying dead on the ground. These don't count towards the badge.

yeah ...Snipers should just quit using claymores. That would be the best thing to ever happen to BF2.

snipers in bf2 suck at this game. Learn to play a real kit.

Aah, that would explain why I needed for 50 kills for SF Expert Engy Combat.

I know, it can be hard sometimes.

But seriously, snipers can be useful for spotting and if someone is really skilled with that kit they can pretty much win a round for you

No sniper can win a round for you......simply as that. The only people that snipe are the ones that cant do anything else so they have to hide and try to kill people......

Oh man, where have you been buddy? Check out some videos floating around there - snipers can be highly valuable (and not just for recon)

A good Sniper can really make a difference to a team. Laying out claymores in tactical positions, camping airfields, picking off people with headshots. A good sniper can keep people's heads down because they know that all they need is one hit then they can be finished off with a pistol.

Sounds like you've either been killed once too many times by a claymore or you simply suck at sniping lol.
