Big Problem!!!

I bought the game(5 days ago), installed, downloaded patches, installed patches, and started it up. I created an account and everything and went to play online. I found a server that looked good and double clicked it. It started loading and then gave me this:

"You have been BANNED from server by ADMIN"

So I tried another one and another one and another one. All the same thing. There are a select few that work but its very little. 70% I' am banned off of. How can I get this fixed? I don't want to create another account. Iam LvL46 now and the server thing is getting REALLY annoying.

This is a guess, and not an answer.

Could your cd-key have been stolen and banned from servers running a certain Master Ban List.

Let's see what others think :)

I just went on CoD4 and created a second profile to see if that worked. It didn't. Same message.

EDIT: OH NO!!!! DAMN IT... If that is the case how can I fix it? I messaged Activision but if they are like EA it might take a week for an answer.

Well, you should return it to where you bought it and say the cd-key didn't work/was stolen.

But, obviously, that might not actually be the case, so let's wait and see what others say.

I just called up one of my friends because I bought this game back in December but wasn't able to play it so I lend it to a friend under the condition that he plays under my Profile which is [MFK] Misiek. Is there anyway I can check the dates on when the hacks were applied? He is denying any hacking over the phone right now but maybe with a date I can get him.

No, it doesn't matter whether you, your mate, or Allah hacked, the cd-key is banned.

You need a new copy of the game and some common sense (which would tell you to never give away your game or hack )

You can appeal the ban, but that never really does anything.

I dont see why your mate would use your name on all 4/5 occasions personally, its not like the Battlefield series where you are stuck with that one name forever. Takes less than 3 seconds to change your name in CoD4.

I know it doesn't matter but if I do have to buy a new copy and I can prove it was my friend hacking I can force him to buy it.

You can't do anything without technical proof mate. Your stuck. Go buy another copy.
