    Black screen-freeze-reboot problem

So i felt like playing bf2 today but on startup everything turns black, a big ...black screen. I tried to force quit it, Didn't work, I tried to end the process, didn't work. I deleted my settnings folder in my documents and tried aswell as removing the movies, Didn't work.

After the black screen appears , I have to reboot , There's no other way.

    Spec:
    Windowws xp
    2gig ram
    Nvidia 7600 gs
    Processor speed:1989.8
    Sound driver: realtek ac97 audio
AMD AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 3800
I pass all thingys on easy info exept 3 things which says unknown compatibility: Sound driver, display driver and the desplay device.

Any suggestions or idea's would be really nice since, I NEED TO PLAY BF2! *GOING WILD

    Thanks in advance

This issue is typically caused by a conflict with the video card or video card drivers. Make sure your video card meets the requirements for the game, and that your drivers are the newest version available from the manufacturer.
