shotguns for noobs??

Just wondering what you're thoughts are!

I am trying for the shotgun headshot challenge at the moment, so am using
it most of the time.

I have played on many very busy servers on team death match and done pretty well, & never been called a NOOB before. But I was playing on 'Downpour' 3 v 3 on team deathmatch & ended up going 14 kills & 2 deaths.
At first I killed a particular guy and he typed 'OMG shotgun lol', but when I killed him about 4 times with it, he said he was leaving the server. I asked why & got the response that I was a 'Shotgun noob'. I found this very funny, 'cause the shotgun is one of the hardest challenges to get I.M.O. plus I have never seen anyone say this before.

ALL weapons that kill the other guy are noob weapons. This game is full of them. Here is the list, in no order, in case youre a little behind:

Martyrdom
Last stand
Grenade Launcher
P90
Grenades
Shotguns
helicopters
air strikes
All pistols but the deagle
Claymores
C4
Defending an area (camping)
Using Jaugernaut
Shooting through walls
Using the mounted machine guns

This is just off the top of my head. Ive been called a noob on every one of these, so I know first hand that these are noob weapons and tactics. Others can add to the list, that i forgot.

I play the game just for fun... not for challenges.


Please uninstall the game, put the disk back in the box and sell it very cheap to someone that cares about playing for fun..thanks! :salute:

Youre also a noob if you play the game for any other reason than just fun. Trying to get ranks, challenges, and camo ALL does not matter and noobish.

In CoD2 I think the shot gun was a little bit of a joke but I think IW fixed this and made it a little harder in CoD4, you need to get close to the other guy to kill them in CoD4, unlike other titles the Shotgun in CoD4 isn't something you can just select then go on a rampage with, you need to get used to it.

Somehow people can't imagine someone actually killing people with the shotguns and since 95% of people playing online are *******es they can't accept it and call me a noob.

Just because the weapon challenges for any given weapon are "hard", doesn't mean that the weapon is hard to master. There are different ways that you can use the shotgun, and in most cases, I don't mind it. Sometimes I'm not in the mood to adjust my play style to fight them, but I don't call them a noob.

in battlefield we had the player rules of engagement. a list of rules that when violated, it was acceptable to kick someone. i understand that people pay good money for their servers and they should be able to set them up any way they like. but i think its high time the player was treated fairly and that the burden be placed on the developers to give admins more options. admin's should not have the right to tell the player how to play the game. what? i have to crouch the entire time i play on your server? i am not allowed to use the sprint button? i cant use certain weapons? BLOW ME! admin's should kick people for being jerks or cheating, and nothing else. boycott overzelous admin today!

hehe, never used the shotgun so i cant comment... but just play the damn game to have fun, thats the #1 way it should be for anything...
