Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I was wondering how you go abotu tailoring your character. One thing thet always annoys me is the ugly gas mask my Specnaz guy is wearing. What Perk gives it? How do I remove it? Is there a list of what perk gives what part of costume?
I liked R6V "mobility vs defense" outfit. Where you stacked your character with different body armor and clothing in exchange of slowing yourself down. While poorly executed, it was still pretty fun. The more I can customize my character (in a practical way) and gain advantage over others through clever manipulation and research, the better.
Well, it all depends on your main weapon, and the map and faction.
The gas mask does look a little wierd. And I don't like the USMC combat helmet when you carry an assault rifle. The one in SP that the other soldiers carry are the normal kind. And the one in MP with an asault rifle is the same as Lt. Vasquez. Which IMO doesn't look very good.
If we could customize our uniforms that would be so cool. But it would have to be according to the faction because it's already bad enough each side can have any weapon that they wouldn't normally use. So if you make the camos be the same then there would just be "Red Team" and "Blue Team" nothing special .
Have you guys also noticed the COD4 United States Marine Corps uniform looks like a mixture between U.S. Army ACU and U.S. Marine Corps MARPAT?
Character customization would definetly be awesome!
I hope that some day (most likely not though) you can customize your character in cod4..
A lot of people do. Some sort of "Mr. Potato Head" system where you can pick from a variety of helmets/hats, glasses, skin tones, jackets, pants, gear, boots, backpacks, etc, would make for some nice variety, but still preserve the overall "look" of a team.

Yeah, on Vegas MP, the teams looked like clowns... Rainbow colored armor, hats, masks... Ugh...
^ That was an issue (sometimes) back in MOHAA/SH as well...some skins were very well done, but others were cartoonish. I have to say though, that the cartoonish ones were a lot of fun when everyone used them - especially on special events like Halloween or Christmas.
The problem with totally custom skins is that it introduces another way to hack (chamskins, etc), so the "Mr. Potato Head" system could strike a balance between the two, by at least giving some customization capability, but from pre-set models and textures from within the game itself.
i like the gas masks they look awesome.. ghillie suits are the best though
it would be cool to have a feature on the game where u can customize ur look... and be able to download different apparel..

If i am reading this right, your worried that people would pick cammo that would help disguise them better than what other people pick. I do not see this as a real problem since no 1 camo should work on all maps. Besides isn't that the point of cammo? I support a limited rainbow six vegas style where you have full customization of looks (could make 1 for each army), but is limited so that you have soldiers not clowns .
