How come I'm not a First Sargeant?

Hi all,

I have a strange one that has been bugging me for a long time!
I'm a Master Sargeant on 44,865 pts (and rising).
I know there are certain awards you have to have to be promoted but I think I have everything yet still am not a First Sargeant.
Summary:
At least Basic Everything
Plus Veteran, Engineer, Spec-Ops, Anti-Tank, Ground Defense, Armour, Air Defense, Command.
I just can't find anything that is stopping my promotion!!
Please help!

If my memory serves me correctly but you have to have the requirments for 1st sgt before you rank up otherwise if you dont meet the requirements you will rank up to master sgt. So now you will stay at master sgt till you rank up to either master gunnery sgt or sgt major depending if you meet the requirments for that rank.

You aren't a 1SG because you can't spell "Sergeant." It's a question on the promotion board. Along with ALL of your general orders. You'll never be a First Sergeant.
