Your argument is that it's pointless because it doesn't give you any "real" points. But the point of playing that mod, along with others, isn't for the points, it's for the fun of it. I haven't played the ClanMod yet, but since everyone's discussing it here, I'll probably download it and try it. I love the First Strike and Conflict2142 mods, but I don't get any points from them, and I don't care cause I'm having fun playing them. The best thing to happen to me in 2142 was becoming BrigGen because nothing I did after that point mattered points-wise.
