Kill death means nothing, especially when noobs like M.F.A stat pad to get best-kill-streaks of 200. Some of the best players I've come against have had utterly shoddy K/D ratios.
Field - Ezekiel is well known for shooting his mouth off but I'll happily defend him because he's got the moves behind the mouth as it were. He's a VERY good player who commands a lot of respect across a fair few talented players. If you did come across him in game, then you might not instantly jump to the conclusion that his bark is worse than his bite (although eze, shaddap, I ain't playing in nations cup but gimme a sudnik VP and I'd violate you :P SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIK).
Also, as much as machine capability CAN be a handicap to a talented player, a lot of the best players I've played alongside use low settings with powerful cards, it's not really an issue IMO. On top of that, whilst I don't hesitate to admit that the US does have some strong players (as do most countries...) - Europe really does have it in spades.... play against some of the Russians and the French and what they do occasionally feels a little unreal.
Oh, and as far as new soldiers go - here's mine http://www.2142-stats.com/hansmoleface+stats.html - I rock multiple casbahs.
Back on topic, M.F.A - you're a tard no matter what weapon you use I'm afraid. Veritas owns you, field_boy owns you, I own you, and most of all, your own unabashed stupidity owns you. You can NEVER proclaim anything good from your stats as you're well documented for using hacks. It's not difficult to kill lots of people with ANY weapon if you're using an aimbot, which punksbusted has multiple references of you using.
Oh and stop being a monkey-child, Krylov > Scar, you have no right to an opinion, you're a noob cheater - how would you have ANY idea how a weapon works when your aimbot does the job for you? :) And field, sorry for the correction, but he sucks without hacks. Honest to God it's eye-wateringly funny. He also doesn't want to enter the nations cup because he knows that even if he turned his hacks back on, the Russians would eat him for breakfast - just a noob who hates having people better than him. Pretty graphics are not important. fps, hit detection, stuttering and lag aaare. those are the things that will screw you when small details are utterly important like when shooting at erratically moving targets or having a delicious crouch.and.scope 1v1 shootout or point blank hip spraying.
Apparently from what people have said with the stuff i got the game should be running a little smoother (2.66Ghz dual core/ 7900GS 256MB/ 2GBRAM/ 3M DSL internet) but the absolute HIGHest i've gotten while actually shooting at stuff (4v4 or something smallsmall) was 50-60fps which imo is very playable.
Hardware is pretty important if you really want to roll with people at the top, im sure you'd agree. what would be cool is to get payed to play (LOL) so i can just buy the stuff i want. that would be nice. *sigh*
At one point all i did was upgrade from 1Gig to 2Gigs of RAM and i noticed a tasty tasty difference with how easy it was to dome split people thats when i started liking the krylov more heheComment

i had 2.9ghz/x300/1.5GRAM/2M DSL lol laggy times, but still got all great scores and top 100 tags etc

You're an utter noob mate, you can make up lovely stories about you coming to our server and doing well, but at the end of the day, the last few times you've come back to our server you've been banned by our admins for being a known tard who likes to defame players who are simply better than you. Field - my point being that can't you run 2142 with a good framerate on lowest settings since graphics don't matter? If you can't with your current setup, then maybe you need to get your PC checked mate. Hardware only matters if you can't run the game at lowest settings and achieve a good framerate (with view distance as the exception).Comment

Yeah really if you think about it theres almost no point to hacking at all other than maybe knowing how to work with documents on your computer and you can do that in other ways:hmm:. i mean what if..(very unrealistic but brings the point across) you had some undetecable hacks for this game and always posted massively good scores and you were soo damn good that some people from EA come to your house and tell you that they'll pay you 10 grand to play in front of a small group of people to demonstrate your massive ownage for a documentary film:shock:. you would have to decline or else they would wonder why you werent living up to what they thought you would be and then they just find out that your a hacking retard and then laugh at you and discount anything else that you had naturally done that anyone might find impressive at all:laugh:. And then you die from something and at your funeral your mom says 'my son used hax in bf2142, he was sucha nice boy.":cry: and then everyone's all like 'wtf hax? really? what a deush.':shakehead and then people start to leave in the middle of the funeral because they think your such a peice of crap, but not before they steal some desert foods from the buffet table.

Belgrade is good sometimes as long as the fighting is between ruins, com tower and playground. but meh.
I do like the 16 player verdun map other than the fact that that stupid walker and APC repawn every 5 seconds.
Berlin would be much much better if it just had a walker or maybe a walker and a few FAVs that would be interesting. APC mortar spam makes matches on Berlin kind of annoying sometimes but then. APCs in general are just kind of lame. I dont even find wide area effect explosive weapons even fun to use at all idk why anyone else does.Comment

Finally someone who agrees with me. The APCs are the main thing that I hate about Berlin. Even more than nade hill. It's just too easy to sit by a supply box and spam an area and kill all the infantry in the same zip code with that thing. It sucks on Titan rounds, too (I fear APCs more than I do other tanks...FAR more), but with gunships and many other vehicles along with a slew of engineers able to take it out they're not so bad. But they can guard a chokepoint against infantry like no other vehicle in the game. And I'm a vehicle whore through and through, but the effectiveness of mortar spam in this game has always left me scratching my head, even moreso on Berlin and Belgrade where APCs aren't necessary to have. At least Belgrade is spread out enough where an APC can't completely rape a choke point.Originally posted by Field
Now about hackers - the thing I hate about them more than anything else is how they screw good players out of worthwhile recognition. I mean sure, it sucks to be playing against people who are cheating and all, but it's the fact that whenever someone is doing good and actually has genuine skill it's hard to know whether he's actually good or just cheating (so naturally, most assume the latter). This leads to countless unwarranted kicks and bans of legit players. And in the meantime when you play with or against someone who is just owning it up you don't know whether to praise them for being a good player or accuse them of cheating.
Luckily I'm not good enough to get called a hacker so I have no personal interest on that front, but I still pity those who are.
