Co-Op?

Does BF2 have co-op? Went to make a LAN game so I could play co-op with my wife, but all that I can select is conquest, unless there's something that I'm missing this distresses me.

Multiplayer > create local, on the other machine, multiplayer > join local and the server will pop up when the host is done loading.

If you are talking about true co-op with bots, yes, there is co-op, but the patch doesn't add it sometimes with some people... if you only see conquest, make sure your patch is up to date (1.41), and if it is, reinstall BF2 and repatch.

But there isn't much as far as "co-op"... it's really just bots that are really shallow and stupid.

True co-op mode was only added in patch 1.3 so you won't see it unless you're running that version or later. Prior to that you could play co-op by connecting to an SP game by ip address.

AI-X is great for co-op but some other mods are pretty good too (I like PoE2 and N@W although it seems to crash more than most mods). You don't "need" any mod to play co-op.
