uhh what software have you guys used to make your frag videos? and umm if i just wanted a video where i have game audio+music and no editing other than going from one scene to the next, how much money do you think i would have to spend??

none. use dxtory or other free ****. it usually only leaves a watermark and it still gives full qualitie. if you want to get in game sounds i woudn't recommer dxtory as i cant get it to work. should try to hack it and make it record in game sounds instead of sounds of my mic. use virtual dub to compres it and then edit it in windows movie maker.

so windows movie maker is free? Im not really smart enough with this stuff to "hack" it and make it do different things than it already does, thats complicated.

all record software? what exactly is a watermark? caus l havent made a vid before so im not sure the lingo you know

search on youtube for sempf1992 frag previeuw to see the watermark. this is uneditted so it has nothing else inside then the dxtory and compression of virtual dub

http://fraps.com/ - In-Game Recorder. By watermark it means that you will have a little thing that says "Unregistered Version - fraps.com" at the top of your video. Windows Movie maker is free, but it SUCKS. I recommend getting a trial version of a better type of software (Sony Vegas, Adobe Premiere Pro).

Hey so virtualDUB is just a video editing program? it doesnt capture video?

Virtual Dub isn't an editor... Its a compressor/decompressor. I guess you CAN call that editing, but its not like Sony Vegas or Windows Media player. Its more of a technical program than a visual program.
