n00b mistakes video

Everyone makes videos of 1337 pwnage, so I decided to do something different. I played a really bad round of 2142 so I made a video of all the n00b mistakes that I made. This is my first video that I've ever made and I did it in a couple of hours, so be easy on me. Also, I normally don't suck this bad, I just had a bad round. I recorded with wegame and edited with sony vegas.

Considering what you said in your last post, I'll be more constructive than critical.

First off, try to make sure your text contrasts with the video. You used a bright white, and I couldn't read it half the time because the sky was so bright.

Actually, other than the text it was a pretty good movie I know what its like to have days like that... When my hands are cold I can't hit anything, and sometimes because of server lag shots that were perfectly aligned do no damage... Oh well

Thanks. I think it's pretty good for my first vid. Not great, but not bad either for just learning the programs. I could have spent more time on the text and transitions, but I get kind of impatient and I wanted to get to the finished product kind of quickly. Hopefully my next one (if I do another one) will be a bit better.

The song is "I get it" by Chevelle. I thought it would be fitting for the content.

those were some bullcrap misses with the sniper rifle, 2 you clearly had the reticle on thier head, fired, and nothing happened to them.

Near the very end you shot some EU guy RIGHT IN THE FACE with a clark and he didnt die which i find kind of odd caus like i know that if i was playing on some normal server with ok ping and i did that same thing im pretty sure he would have died.

was it the $75 vegas?? theres that mad expensive $540 dollar vegas too, you just used the inexpensive one right? Caus damn i think all i need would be fraps and then one of those programs and i could actually make a video i think. played this game for so long and no vid. hmmmm

Nice vid man, and yeah, I've had days like those. In fact, I'm having a FREEZING COLD HANDS day right now and it's like my fingers are made of a poor quality rubber. Unlucky with some of the shots, but generally you'd have to pull the trigger a little faster, latency probably explains why they missed. Not as bad as the instances where when you shoot an enemies head and their head recoils, but no damage occurs... gah. Hate that.

Thanks, lol. What I hate most is when I knife someone and I can hear the cloth rip and they don't die. Then they hear you behind them and turn around and blast your face.:shakehead I remember in BF2 you could even see a puff of dust come out where you hit the person!

hey which kind of SOny VEGas DID YOU USE?????? I googled it and there were 3 kinds. one of them was mad expensive and another was a reasonable $75. Which one did you use? which one do you have?

dude am i weird or something like that? i always have cold hands(not shaking they appear to be death) but if i do pushups or what it doesnt make a difference for the tempature.
@ the one who made the idea: i also wanted to make a fail movie with all the mistakes recorded(running around with a nade rezzing with a medhub, trying to clark a sniper cuz of tunnel zoom(i can "zoom" with my eyes to a little area on the screen). or going rambo with one bullet in my gun and an emptie pistol and shotgun no nades.

try taking deaper breaths? or maybe you got bad circulation idk. i just know that after exercising or drinking alot of coffee my hands are ususally pretty warm.

taking deaper breaths is difficult as i am a sort of astmatic and the shool god revoked and now its over and its spring. so my lungs are at their minimums atm. cant breath normaly whilst sporting but have a good condition. and my nose is blocked atm so yeah deaper breathing is a problem. btw i can't stand cold. people always get scared if i have it cold for one simple reason: i turn purple. lol

what are good free movie edittors as i need one to if i want to make vids in the future. now i need to let mates do it.
