    Patches?

    Do you have to install any patch or patches with BF2? What happens if you dont?

      if you dont install the patches you cant play on selected servers.

          Patch 1.41, if you don't know which one we are on. And yes, you will not be able to play on servers if your game isn't patched, if you are, its either unranked or illegal.
