I know everybody! Lets have a repeat of when BF Heroes was first announced and around 1,000,000 people all posted the same thing without bothering to look at the topics on the page they were on! Guess what they would have found? 1,000,000 topics on the same subject! That would be awesome, and it gives our moderators something to do!

          *green is for sarcasm*

Seriously though, don't worry about the news. Chances are the staff and mods have seen it and posted it hours before you knew about it. Its just a matter of going to the right section... Speaking of which, HERE is the right section!

EDIT: Sorry if this seems somewhat rude, but after what happened when BF:H was first announced I feel I have the right to rant, at least a little.

I think about 20% of members here are not aware that the other sites actually exist or maybe they don't visit them. So i don't mind threads like these

                  Uh?

How are EA/Dice going to profit from this game? I don't really mind the cartoonish style, since it's free, but in a free economy, you don't get people to work without money. Are they developing this as an advertisement feeder developed from a failed project? Or are they use this as a market research on shooter-style game? Gaming industry is not charity and they shouldn't be. Not that I don't like advertise in games. IMHO, there aren't enough of them yet. We can all just go to Radioshack, buy TV sets and get back home to watch Jack Bauer on Fox thanks to commercial. I don't see any reason we can't have nearly or simply free game for that. The industry just need to find a way to sell commercials.

Ah I don't really mind that it's not really that related to 2142 or bf2, but at the end of the day, at first appearances it's a fun free game, and I'm not going to snub it because it's not like its predecessors. I'll be giving it a go at least.

Besides, why WOULDN'T you want to run someone over in a cartoon tank?

They get money from adverts, and you can buy extra skins and stuff if you want to. There are no adverts actually in game, they are all on the menu and the website you have to visit in order to play.

Not a lot to ask for, for free game...

The absolute plus to this game is that it's free.
And that promises huge numbers of players. And everyone likes populated games.

That looks so awful man, I definately won't be playing it. They say and I quote, the game will "emphasis on participation and fun, rather than skill and strategy". Ermmm, no thanks, I would actually prefer skill and strategy and trying to improve my gameplay against others...

Plus it looks like a game for a 7 year old kid...
