I must be the only one in the world who sucks with the Voss

Seriously, so many people just rape faces with that gun, but I can't get the hang of it. Maybe it's because it seems to shake all over the place when I fire it and it seems like it takes all 40 rounds to bring someone down or I have to stand still forever firing short bursts to kill a guy with it (and forget going full auto at burst range...all that does is waste ammo). I have the hang of the Baur and feel more comfortable with it, and even the SCAR treats me better. I've seen people that come around a corner while strafing and firing full auto from the hip and kill me seemingly instantly, yet when I try to do the same it usually equates to me emptying an entire magazine to get the kill, if I get the kill at all. It seems like someone can just look at me and I die, even if I'm prone and waiting for them they just shoot from the hip and I'm dead.

So is there a trick to using this gun or do I just suck?

Just point and shoot in bursts... not that hard.

Remember to scope... I am not too great with the Voss, but I can put up a hell of a fight with it for titan defense. Scope, then 3 - 3 shot bursts. Aim for the head. I can't shoot for crap with it on Camp G though, if I must play assault its back to the Baur or Krylov.

yup yup burst remember the GE-37 i believe it was from BF2 the third tier unlock. well ya that gun was ultimate just like the voss is if you know how to use it. you should never really feel any shaking or recoil because that only happens when you pray and spray which a good player will never do. also y not just use the krylov or scar???? those weopens are much better

........Im just trying to think what habit you have that could be holding back your voss PWNAGE:laugh: but im having trouble. caus, i know that you are good and you can handle the scar really decent and you'd think that you would do better with the voss if anything, i know that if i use the baur and scar for a while i find the voss to be even eeezzier when i go back to it.

I wouldnt exactly say they are MUCH better, they are more or less equal but with slightly different strengths and weaknesses.

Boy I'd sure love to be unbanned from those NFB servers. It seems like whenever i pull up the server list there are at least 2 of them at the top of the list. They are the forbidden fruit:|:

best advice is to ditch that nub weapon and play with scar and krylov. Much better then the voss imo....

LOL yeah, it was weird...I started off the day playing Tunis and I was EU, so I went with the SCAR. I was doing quite well with it, killing people left and right (finally got my damn silver assault badge...never thought I would ever struggle to get a measly 20 kills IAR :cry: ), so I figured once I got a field unlock I would use it to unlock the Voss and then whore that for a while. Only when I went over to the Voss, all of a sudden I couldn't kill ****. It wasn't just me making tactical errors as I often do, but it was me just sucking with the gun. I mean I got kills with it, sure, but not the ownage that so many others seem to get with that gun. For the last round on Gib I switched back to the Baur and ended up doing just fine. I don't get it. :hmm:

Oh, and is the =TRR= server part of the =NfB= server group now? Because I noticed the =NfB= server graphic on the TRR server last night but never noticed it before (maybe I'm just slow)?

Not that I know of. We are good friends with them but that's about it. I'll have to ask them about it and see if I can get any royalty fees from them.

Voss really isn't a better weapon than the other AR's, you need practice with it just as with anything else. It's pretty forgiving due to the large clip though.

Its a pretty good video, he actually aims for most of his shots... But yeah, 3 Bursts of 3 Shots is the best way to kill. Reload if you fall below 20 Bullets. Thats all I could wring out of my clanmate who is in the top 200 with the voss.
