Battlefield menu in brown and white, and "unmodified version only" message?!

When I start up Battlefield 2 (vanille) the menu is in brown and white (like black and white), and when I try to connect to a server the message "unmodified version only allowed" appears?

I suspect the removal of the Forgotten Hope mod since it happens since the removal of the mod (through Windows sofware configuraation) and since it has the same colours as the FH mod has.

How can I fix this besides reïnstalling BF2 and every mod? :cry:

it sounds almost like ur trying to start up the FH mod after u uninstalled it. have u changed any particular settings in the bf2 files themselves?

I use the defealt shrtcut on my desktop, "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1. So not any FH shortcut.
And, no, I have not changed any other settings within BF2.
