Connection to server lost.

I just got my cable modem installed with a wireless router and I cant play any game because as soon as I connect to a server I get a connection lost error. Help me with this please because I haven't the slightest clue to making this work.

Err... it says there is a problem with your connection. Call of Duty does pretty much the same thing. Comapny of Heroes seems to work though.

Hey Straker, as far as BF2 goes, I believe it just might be the game itself. I run a dedicated BF2 server on a 20mbps cable line and can't stay on the server more than 5 minutes without getting disconnected. And I have tried everything to make it work but to no avail. But as far as as your router goes, I say it has a slow connection. Try speedtest.net or any other speed test out there to see how fast your connection speed is. Also, the router type is a big factor, like is it a G, G+, or N. The N rated router will have a better connection and greater range. But that is about all I know about wireless routers.
