Downloaded 2142 from EA Download

I just re-downloaded 2142 from EA download manager and installed plus all updates and I get this:

"The game cannot start. In order to launch this game please login to the EA download manager to verify your ownership then try again."

I am logged in. WTF. Tried numerous times from the start menu, short cut, and directly from EA download manager and still nothing.

On a sad note, there is so many of us with same problem.
