Awarded Badges, Medals, Ribbons even though I did not earn them (please help)

I am new to BF2142. I started playing around November/December.

On Jan 19th (when I was still pretty unsure what was going on) I joined a server that apparently gave out badges, medals and ribbons for free. For example, I played an Assult character and on my first kill I was awarded the Gold Assult badge even though I was far from the requirements.

This happened with a lot of badges, I probably played a few rounds before quitting or moving on. When the badges/ribbons/medals were awarded at the end of the round I only got 1 point per item.

Now that I am a lot better at the game I would really like to earn these badges and get the real point values for them. I don't know what to do, has anyone else been in this situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't want badges I didn't earn, it'd be nice to track my progress accuratly and earn the points when I do actually make these badges which I am afraid I won't

First of all report the server to EA. I am not sure if you will be able to recieve the awards again but the only way to find out is to build up the time etc you need for the award and see if you can win it.

I wish I could report the server to EA - this server really screwed me over. It was over a month ago at this point - I am not sure if I have history going that far back but I will check. I want to report this problem to EA but I have heard of them reseting accounts / stat wiping cheaters. While I am in no way a cheater I worry that I may be percieved as one simply because I was on this &%$# server!

If I do contact EA do I need to worry about having all my hard work wiped? I am almost warrant gold and put a lot of honest hours (70+) into what I have, I would be devistated to the point of quitting if I had to earn back those 11,000 points (and 8 NS badges)

im no ea employee

ive read on that issue and it was happening on alot of servers,so its not your fault .the only thing you can do though is continue with the same profile or create a new one

Are you sure there is nothing I can do? I've been playing a lot and am at ~23,000 points, but I could sure use the 1000's of points these ribbons offer

EA don't meddle with stats. All they will do is wipe everything. Your stuck with them unless you make a new account.
